Good to know
The agreements behind the prices, by topic. Open whichever one you need.
All amounts exclude VAT. For Dutch businesses with a VAT number, VAT is reverse-charged.
Hosting, domain name and maintenance are not part of the package price.
Connections to external systems, such as a CRM, bookkeeping, stock system or an API, are not included in a package. I quote those separately, along with any other extras outside your package.
If your site needs a paid theme or a paid plugin, that licence is in your name and you pay for it yourself.
Invoicing runs per quarter in advance. Pay six months up front and 2% comes off. Pay a year up front and it is 4%.
The included change hours are per month and expire at the end of that month. Anything beyond that is billed hourly, and never without agreeing it first.
If your site runs on a page builder, the monthly price can come out higher than the one on the card.
On those sites the layout sits inside the builder, so after an update I have to go through the pages one by one.
Maintenance also works on a site hosted elsewhere. I then need access to WordPress and to your hosting panel.
On an environment I don't manage myself I can't guarantee uptime or recovery. If your host's backups aren't up to scratch, I'll add my own solution alongside them.
I update the WordPress core, the base theme and the plugins I installed and approved myself.
If you install plugins, scripts or theme changes yourself, or have someone else do it, maintaining those falls outside the fixed price. I can't take responsibility for conflicts, database errors, layout problems or security holes that come out of them.
Licences for your theme and your plugins are in your name and you pay for them yourself. If one expires, updates for that part stop.
If an update takes the site down, I restore it to the most recent backup. That is part of the subscription. Tracking down the conflict and getting the site working with the new version is billed hourly, always agreed in advance.

I arrange hosting if you want me to. What it costs depends on what your site needs.
Already have hosting? Then keep it. Maintenance works there too, as long as I can get in.
Email is not included. I handle the DNS side for you.

Looking for someone to keep your site running? That starts with an audit.
I go through plugins, PHP version, loading speed, security and backups. You get a report with what's going on and what it costs to put right.
The report is yours, even if you place the maintenance somewhere else.
